How do Fingerprint Scanners Work?

    1.  Fingerprint Scanners only store several unique points of the fingerprint.
    2. The remainder of the fingerprint is not stored which means that no actual fingerprint is stored.
    3.  An algorithm unique to the specific fingerprint scanner is able to recognise these unique points and identify the user.
    4. These algorithms are unique to each model/brand of reader and cannot be read by other fingerprint scanners.
    5. The most reliable fingerprint scanners use the highest quality hardware combined with the next generation algorithms making them a reliable choice when deciding how to secure building and monitor the activity within.
